Durango Train
The Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad was once a part of the Denver & Rio Grande Railway. In 1882, just nine months after construction began, it was completed from Durango to Silverton. This unbelievably scenic and historic train ride is rated the Number One North American Train Trip by National Geographic (2010) and one of the top World’s Train Rides by the Society of American Travel Writers (2009).
