Great Getaway to a beautiful canyon

Spent nearly 4 days on the Green River through Desolation and Gray Canyons. The water was refreshing, food was exceptional. Lots to see off the boat with local history including ranches, petroglyphs, Arches, fossils, wildlife (Big Horn Sheep (Momma and newborn), Birds singing and the sounds of nature. It is truly a relaxing getaway. Guides […]

Excellent Guides and Trip

I really enjoyed my trip with Mild to Wild through Desolation Canyon. Although I was originally booked for Gates of Lodore, COVID-19 closures took our group to Desolation Canyon which did not disappoint. The guides took the necessary and appropriate health and safety protocols in light of current public health concerns.

Outstanding Getaway with Amazing Views and People

Desolation Canyon was a blast – the canyon is beautiful with soaring walls and great water, and our guides, Vlad, Tubbs, Rio, and Kelly were awesome. They were incredibly knowledgeable, fun folks who took care of everything we needed. The trip had a great mix of good action on the water and hiking mixed with […]

Excellent Trip

We had a fantastic time on the trip and the guides were top-notch especially Rio and Vlad

Stellar trip & environment with great guides!

Beginning with an indescribable flight over Desolation Canyon from the Moab Field Airport, to the top of the Mesa above the put-in, this was an unbelievable trip from beginning to end. Drastic canyon walls cut through the skyline, and the river twists and turns, all the while you see virtually nobody…no cars…no buildings…no other people […]

Meeting and bonding our families AND crew

I really enjoyed the whole experience rafting desolation canyon. This trip is where I met the parents of my daughters partner and allowed us to really get to know each other. The canyon was incredible and the crew/guides did a great job. We also got to meet the photographers/media specialist on this trip and they […]

Good family time without any electronics

Sam and Morgan were great guides as they rowed us down the Green river for 5 days. If you’re looking for something more active, make sure there’s an inflatable kayak (or duckie) included or that you’re on a paddle boat. The beauty of the day was matched by the beauty of the night stars.
